AMOPOL is a reagent that is produced at the Coagulant PCP, is used in the ammonization
technology in the preparation of drinking and household water, as well as in technological processes
in various industries.
The use of AMOPOL at potable water treatment plants shows that:
- The use of AMOPOL reduces the chloroform content in purified water by 3-5 times, which makes
it possible to obtain water that meets the government standards 2.2.4-171-10. - Preammonization using AMOPOL allows you to get rid of the characteristic chlorophenol odor
and the pungent odor of free chlorine, improves the organoleptic characteristics of water. - The introduction of preammonization reduces the consumption of chlorine by 40-50%
- The use of AMOPOL is especially relevant in networks of considerable length, in order to
maintain their proper sanitary condition and the safety of drinking water. - The use of preammonization using AMOPOL does not require significant investments and
reconstruction of existing water treatment facilities.
