Our company Polohy Chemical Plant “Coagulant” has a great history. For over 80 years now it has been reliably providing the cities of our beloved Ukraine with high quality coagulants and reagents to purify wastewater and drinking water. In addition, using the Coagulant resources and facilities, we have been able to:
- Produce substances for open and closed circulating systems;
- Synthesize polymers for complex multistage processes (e.g. Bayer process);
- Master the synthesis of polycarboxylates and additives required to make concrete with specified properties;
- Provide agricultural enterprises with disinfectants and detergents; and
- Develop many other modern technologies and master the production of high performance products.
On February 24th, Russian troops have treacherously invaded the territory of our native sovereign state. Since then, they have destroyed our peaceful cities, bombed hospitals and schools, seized nuclear power plants and systematically killed our children, women and the elderly. Russian troops and its president are calling all of this “denazification” and “demilitarization” of Ukraine. However in reality, they cannot forgive us for choosing a European path, having strong democratic ideals and the rising living standards across Ukraine.
Today the Polohy city is occupied. As a retaliation for refusing to hang up the Russian flag above the City Hall, the city was brutally shot and a number of our workers were left homeless as a result. Heat and electricity have been cut off. Nonetheless, this sincere grief does not prevent us from rejoicing in the success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine elsewhere, the tremendous dedication of the Ukrainian Territorial Defense and the losses suffered by the enemy.
