The reagents which are based on organic and inorganic chlorine

To date, preparations based on inorganic and organic chlorine are the most effective for disinfecting pool water. In the process of hydrolysis, they form hypochlorous acid (active chlorine – HOCl), it has a strong disinfecting effect and is able to destroy microorganisms in less than 2 s.

The decrease in chlorine activity

The combined use of inorganic chlorine Liquid Chlor L100 with preparations based on organic chlorine, such as: Shock Chlor Granules, Shock Chlor Tabs 20 Desiclean Complex, Long Chlor Tabs 200, Long Chlor Tabs 20 Desiclean Complex 20 is not recommended. This combination can cause an oxidation reaction, which entails a rapid decrease in chlorine activity, turbidity of the water, precipitation and the appearance of a sharp smell of chlorine.
