Set-retarding admixtures series RETARDER – special additives that regulate kinetics of concrete hardening. They are used while transporting concrete mixture over long distances for building up large monolithic structures. Retarders are used when concrete is laying in hot weather conditions to avoid formation of cold joints and in other cases, when is necessary to maintain mobility of the concrete mixture.
