The reagent treatment used in primary oil refining plants is typical of all refineries and includes the following products:
Demulsifiers – for the desalting unit;
Neutralizing amines – for the correction of pH of process media of distillation units;
Corrosion inhibitors – to protect the top of columns and condensation equipment from corrosion.
The proposed package of reagents can significantly reduce the intensity of corrosion processes at the desalting and distillation units. All reagents have been tested for compatibility with petroleum crudes and process fluids, and do not adversely affect the quality of the final petroleum products.
